Ktiquette was founded with a simple yet powerful belief:
That with the right support, education, and community, North Korean refugees can not only survive but thrive in South Korea. What began as a small grassroots initiative has grown into a comprehensive support network serving thousands of individuals.
Our journey started when we recognized the unique challenges faced by North Korean defectors - from language barriers and cultural differences to psychological trauma and employment discrimination. We knew that traditional integration programs weren't enough. These individuals needed specialized, compassionate support that understood their unique experiences.
Today, Ktiquette stands as a beacon of hope, offering not just services, but a community where refugees can find friendship, mentorship, and the tools they need to build successful, fulfilling lives in South Korea.
